The description says that it is safe to put this in the dishwasher. If you enlarge the picture of the item, you can see the words "Dishwasher Safe" in the upper left hand corner of the tag.
The item I received looks exactly like the one in the picture, including the tag.
However, the tag on mine says "Hand Wash Only".
I bought this because it was one of the few I could find that was supposedly dishwasher safe.
To find out that's not the case is frustrating.
